Nonnie Bailey-Jones (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional who works with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, life transitions, and relationship concerns. She offers therapy that is steady, thoughtful, and grounded in the belief that people make sense in context. Her goal is to help clients feel more understood, more connected to themselves, and more able to move forward in ways that feel real and sustainable.

Many of the people Nonnie works with feel stuck in patterns they do not fully understand, overly critical of themselves, or weighed down by old beliefs about who they are supposed to be. In therapy, she helps clients look at those patterns with honesty and care, loosen the grip of beliefs that no longer fit, and begin building a different relationship with themselves and the people around them.

Nonnie’s style is warm, practical, and shaped around the person in front of her. She draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), and Narrative Therapy. Rather than forcing people into one method, she uses these approaches to help clients understand what is getting in the way, strengthen coping skills, and reconnect with their own values, strengths, and sense of direction.

As a trauma-informed therapist, Nonnie also pays close attention to the ways past experiences can shape the present. She helps clients make sense of what they have been carrying, understand the impact it has had on their emotions and relationships, and practice responding to themselves with more flexibility, care, and intention.
