When everything feels harder than it looks

Maybe you are overwhelmed by everyday tasks, stuck in cycles of burnout, or exhausted from masking your way through work, relationships, and daily life. Maybe you have spent years feeling scattered, too sensitive, behind, or like you are somehow missing what seems to come naturally to other people.

You may be dealing with executive functioning struggles, sensory stress, shame, relationship conflict, or the constant effort of trying to keep up. Therapy can help you make sense of those patterns without turning them into a character flaw.

Therapy That Fits Your Brain'

We offer care for ADHD and autistic adults that is practical, affirming, and built around how you actually function, not how you are “supposed” to.

Less Shame, More Understanding

Many neurodivergent adults have spent years feeling lazy, too much, too scattered, or not enough. Therapy can help make sense of those patterns with more clarity and less self-blame.

Support for Real-Life Struggles

We help with overwhelm, burnout, masking, executive functioning challenges, sensory stress, relationship strain, and the daily friction of trying to keep up.

A Safe Place to Land

You deserve therapy where you do not have to prove your experience, hide your needs, or force yourself into a system that does not fit.

You are allowed to need a different way of doing things

At MRC, we do not start from the assumption that you need to be fixed. We help you better understand how you work, what is overwhelming your system, and what kinds of support may actually help. In therapy, we may help you:

  • understand patterns related to ADHD, autism, masking, and burnout

  • reduce shame and self-blame… maybe even holding compassion for that “inner critic”

  • build practical supports for daily life, boundaries, and communication

  • make sense of work stress, relationship tension, and identity questions

  • move toward greater self-trust and a more sustainable way of living

Our work is affirming, relational, and useful. We want therapy to feel like a place where you can understand yourself more clearly and build a life that fits better.

Therapy that works with your brain, not against it

Relief may look like less shame, more clarity, better boundaries, and a life that takes less effort to hold together. You deserve support that helps you function and feel more like yourself.

FAQs

What are sessions like?

Sessions are virtual or in person (if available). Usually 53-55 minutes, collaborative, practical, and tailored to your needs. We may focus on overwhelm, burnout, executive functioning, relationships, sensory stress, or self-understanding.

How do I know if this therapy is right for me?

This may be a good fit if you are ADHD, autistic, questioning whether you may be neurodivergent, or tired of being treated like your struggles with executive function are a moral failure.

Do I need a formal diagnosis?

No. You do not need a formal diagnosis to begin therapy or to deserve affirming support. However, if you are utilizing insurance, you must meet criteria for a mental health diagnosis for us to bill insurance.

We complete a diagnostic evaluation at intake to evaluate if you meet criteria for a mental health diagnosis, and evaluating what the best course of treatment usually looks like.

How long does therapy usually take?

That depends on your goals. Some clients want short-term support around a specific issue, while others want longer-term work around deeper patterns.
