C Sailer (they/them), LCPC obtained their M.A. in Counseling Psychology and B.A. in Psychology from Towson University. C specializes in working with folks who need help "throwing their elbows out and creating a little space for themselves in a world that's so harsh"

C prioritizes meeting clients where they are and providing a supportive and affirming counseling environment. C works primarily with individuals on exploring identity, strengthening skills around communication/interpersonal relationships, processing parenthood, and creating support and validation around feelings of anxiety, depression, and self-worth. C feels passionately about working with individuals within the LGBTQ+ community, especially those identifying under the trans and nonbinary umbrella. 

C uses an eclectic therapeutic approach with a focus on elevating the client's perspective and helping to process the past in order to help identify personal values to address current and future problems. 

C has been an invited speaker on topics related to parenting/queer parenting, adoption, identity formation, spirituality, and the intersection of minoritized identities (e.g., jewish/nonbinary, trans/queer). C has received additional training on gender affirmative counseling, multicultural competency/humility, and supporting individuals during grief/bereavement. 

In addition to working with clients, C enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing with their pups, watching sports, practicing self- compassion, cooking, and enjoying foods that perfectly balance sweet and salty.
